Xperia X1 panels running on the HTC Touch Pro

by Nick Marshall

It was only a matter of time before the slick Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 panel interface was ported over to the HTC Touch Pro.  Earlier today a video was posted on YouTube showing the panel interface in action, but it should be noted that the project is still in its early stages:  with no Panels button and a distinct lack of buttons overall, the user can not yet return to the Panels after making a selection. In addition the Panels stop working after a soft reset.

As you might have guessed, xda-developers are the brains behind this project.  To stay up to date with the latest developments in the porting of the XPERIA X1 panels to the HTC Touch Pro, follow this thread.
