The popular Opera Mini cell phone web browser has just been updated to v4.2 beta and with the update come several notable improvements. The new update adds a handful of new visual themes, called skins, which allow for a more colorful experience. When it comes to performance, Opera Mini 4.2 beta takes advantage of Opera’s new servers in the U.S. which should offer an even faster browsing experience for users in North America and Asia.
We’ve also been told that certain phones will be able to use the Opera MIni browser to view YouTube videos as well. The last notable feature is the support for Opera Link, which syncronizines data between Opera’s desktop web browser and Opera Mini. Aside from synchronizing your bookmarks and browsing history, notes are now supported in Opera Link.
