Still unannounced and a dual slider, the Pantech Duo 2 has made a formal appearance on the FCC database this afternoon. Thanks to a speedy approval and with an External Photo confidentiality agreement we are pleased to bring you the first high-resolution pictures of the Duo 2. Unfortunately the shiny new exterior is among the most notable improvements since there is very little innovation in terms of features over the original Pantech Duo.

The Duo 2 carries the same QWERTY and alphanumeric keypads as its predecessor, but this time it ships with Windows Mobile 6.1 in tote. It is a dual band 850/1900 GSM/EDGE/WCDMA device so it supports At&t’s 3G network for speedy web browsing. The device also features a 2.0-megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD slot. At the moment no release date information or pricing is available since the device has not been confirmed by either Pantech or At&t.
