The FCC website has just approved the upcoming T-mobile Shadow II (2). This Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard slider-style smartphone is still powered by a low-end processor (260 MHz now), however it offer 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM. The device does not support T-mobile’s 3G network, but does provide quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and WiFi b/g for UMA calling and web browsing. While we do like what the original T-mobile Shadow did in terms of revolutionizing the GUI over the traditional Windows Mobile interface, we hope there is more to this device than we see at the moment.
