Next year Dataviz, creators of Documents to Go, will release a version of their software for the Android OS. This new version will join the existing software available on BlackBerry, Palm, Symbian and Windows Mobile Smartphones which allows users to view, edit and create Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files from their mobile phones. As usual software comes with a hefty price tag, but the additional support should be well received by corporate users hoping to get more out of their Android-powered handset. Along with Documents to Go, Dataviz will be releasing an Android version of Roadsync, a popular third-party Exchange application. With the additions of MS Office and Exchange the G1 might just be what the doctor ordered, but this of course depends on when in 2009 Dataviz releases the software. [DataViz]
