Palm Pre Software Developer Kit Coming Soon

Many fellow Sprint users still have a sour taste in their mouth after the hallow promise by Sprint to develop software applications for the Samsung Instinct.  Fast forward to today and we are hours away from the release of Sprint’s next flagship device, the Palm Pre.  Out of all the reviews floating around the Internet the one area that all experts agree is that Palm’s WebOS needs the support of developers in order for both the device and the OS to stand the test of time.

Well ladies and gentlemen we have some good news straight from Palm’s VP of Global Sales Dave Whalen.  In a press event earlier today Mr. Whalen commented on the public SDK by saying that they are, “very close to launch”.  Although he did not go into specifics about what he means by close, we’ll give Palm the benefit of the doubt.
