What could be better than avoid early morning lines by pre-ordering your iPhone 3G S? That’s an easy question, pre-sign for the shipment so you don’t have to wait around all day for the UPS delivery truck. According to GearDiary, when you receive your email notification from Apple that your iPhone 3G S has been shipped, click the link in the email to pre-sign. You will have to fill out a UPS form and specify where you’d like the driver to leave the precious package, but at least you will not have to spend your Friday off work to get your new toy.
The only thing left is to make sure your neighbors aren’t keen on iPhone 3G S deliveries otherwise you might find yourself with an empty box. For future reference our preferred method of delivery is always sending it to a work address.
