Samsung i8000 Omnia 2 gets an early photo session

How could we resist and early photo session with the upcoming Samsung Omnia II (i8000).  With the updated TouchWiz 2.0 User Interface and Samsung’s promise to deliver the best mobile experience with easy access to all our favorite programs, we couldn’t help ourselves.  If your memory is a little fuzzy from yesterday, the Omnia II will run Windows Mobile 6.1 (upgradable to 6.5), feature a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, run TouchWiz 2.0 UI, Advanced R Touch (Resistive Touch) for faster more accurate response, record 480p video, supports HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, WiFi and offers up to 48 GB of storage.  The Omnia II is set on competiting in the high-end smartphone market where Nokia’s N97, Palm’s Pre, HTC’s Magic and Apple’s iPhone 3G S are beginning to eat up the market share.  If we were making a buying decision on features alone, the Omnia II would definitley be our top choice at the moment, but how else better than a photo session to really sell us on a smartphone? Enjoy.
