The FCC has blessed T-mobile USA with three phone approvals late last week: Nokia 3710a ‘Fold’, Nokia RM-511 and the Motorola T56Kv1.  The first device, the Nokia 3710a/RM-509 is the North American version of the ‘Fold’, a mid-level clamshell with QVGA internal display, Symbian S40 OS, GPS, 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth and support for T-mobile’s 3G network (1700MHz).

Next up is the Nokia RM-511 which also features the clamshell design and T-mobile 3G support but no additional details were revealed in the FCC documentation.  It looks like we’ll have to wait for the period of confidentiality to expire on this one before we pinpoint the real model number.

Last on the list is a Motorola T56Kv1 phone that packs two rare features: 3G and Wifi, neither of which have been included on a T-mobile Motorola phone to date.  At this point most insiders have begun speculating that the Motorola T56Kv1 is actually the Motorola Morrison since rumors of an October 21 release date would coincide with a late August FCC approval.  As we wait for the big announcement coming from Motorola on September 10 you can be rest assured that we will pinpoint the full specs for the T56Kv1 very soon.
