Remember that unofficial Acer handset with the unbelievable specs rumored to be coming by the end of 2009?  Well friends the Acer F1 is real and on October 6 it will be available in the UK for about $482.  What makes the price so remarkable is that it features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.8-inch touchscreen display running at 480 x 800 pixels, accelerometer, quad-band GSM / tri-band HSPA, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, 5-megapixel camera, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM.  Oh and we almost forgot, the Acer F1 will come pre-loaded with Windows Mobile 6.5 just to put the icing on the cake.
