Apple's App Store breaks the Two Billion Mark

If you are already tired of hearing your friends respond to your problems with ‘they’ve got an app for that’, prepare for even more Apple gloating.  According to a Press Release yesterday, Apple has recorded more than two billion apps downloading from its self-proclaimed revolutionary App Store.  The current tally for apps available to download is 85,000 and there are more than 50 million iPhone and iPod Touch users worldwide.  If you are worried about running out of content for your Apple product you can rest assured knowing that there are over 125,000 developers in the iPhone Developer Program so many should be releasing their first apps very soon.
