Dopplr Oy is probably a name you have never heard before but this privately-held mobile service provider for international travelers just got picked up by Nokia.  Dopplr is comprised of seven people with offices in London and Helsinki with unique knowledge in creating internet-based communities and showing their journeys, experience and tastes collectively on the web.  If you are familiar with Dopplr.com you can rest assured knowing that the acquisition does not change the current Dopplr service.
