International Number Portability goes live with GSMA's Pathfinder Service

We’ve all either considered or completed a number port from one carrier to the next but have you thought about porting your number internationally?  By then end of 2010 Number Portability will be available in over 52 countries and to keep up with the volume of numbers the GSMA has announced the launch of PathFinder Number Portability Discovery.  The service will be operated and monitored by Neustar on behalf of the GSMA with a focus in eliminating incremental fees, reduce costs, optimize rates in commercial agreements, improve traffic delivery and pave the way for new feature-rich-IP-based-series.
