It’s no secret that At&t’s coverage is well below the marks of Sprint and Verizon here in the U.S. and as I sit here waiting for my 3G MicroCell so that I can actually receive calls at home I wonder how many fellow iPhone users will jump ship if Verizon releases the iPhone next year. Rather than simply speculating, consulting firm CFI Group has just published some staggering figures which suggest that iPhone users are the most loyal smartphone users with 90 percent saying they’d recommend the device to a friend. On the other hand over half of all iPhone users using the At&t network said they would jump ship to another carrier if given the chance. To add fuel to that fire, At&t scored worse than all four major U.S. wireless carriers in terms of overall customer satisfaction for smartphone, a first for the company. Let’s be honest, when Sprint scores a 74 out of 100 in terms of customer satisfaction and you score a 69 out of 100, you have problems At&t.
