At&t Pure (Diamond2) live and in the flesh

That Asurion updated claim form that surfaced about an hour ago has just become a confirmed piece of HTC Pure history.  Over on Tilt Mobility the first-ever unboxing photos of the At&t Pure were just posted, confirming the device and silencing the doubters.  So we know the device is legit and that At&t will be the first U.S. carrier to launch the Diamond2, but what about a release date and pricing on a 2-year service agreement?  We are still in the dark on those two questions, but rumors hint towards an Oct 6 release date to coincide with the Windows Mobile 6.5 worldwide launch day.
