The HTC Touch HD2 / HTC Leo or as we like to call it “The WinMo Monster” is all but released in Europe. T-mobile is confirmed to be one of the carriers of choice for this flagship device and to help you prepare you we’d like to refresh you with the full specifications. First and foremost the HTC Leo runs on the new Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS which makes its debut next Tuesday worldwide (Oct 6).
The device features a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen which trumps the iPhone in both screen size and screen resolution (800 x 400 pixels). To power this massive screen HTC has gone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1GHz processor which is accompanied by 320MB of RAM and 512MB of Internal Flash Storage. Of course 512MB of Internal Storage (ROM) is not sufficient so HTC has included a microSD card slot which accepts up to 16GB.
The top of the line features do not stop there as HTC has once again called upon a 5-megapixel camera and this time included dual LED flash (no video call). When it comes to connectivity options the HTC Leo offers 3G HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB along with GPS for navigation. The only area which we see a potential problem is battery life since the device only ships with a 1230 mAh removable battery. Miscellaneous features include a Digital Compass, FM Radio, G-Sensor, Light sensor and a Proximity Sensor. So you know just about all there is to know about the HTC Leo all we need now is a list of release dates and pricing structures. If you still have questions feel free to drop us a comment below.
