The Morning Mobile Minute: Nokia E72 NAM, BlackBerry Essex and HTC Pure

It’s that time again and I hope you are ready for your daily morning jolt.  So sit back relax and fire up that pot of coffee because Cellfanatic is bringing you everything you missed last night in 60 seconds or less.

To start things off we noticed that Amazon decided to let the North American Edition of the Nokia E72 go live this morning.  In the world of full QWERTY candybar style phones there are very few choices other than the upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9700 so a NAM E72 should be a very hot commodity.  The device replaces one of our favorite smartphones of the past year, the E71, and it brings an improved feature set.

Next on the scene was the BlackBerry Essex which was spotted by a couple of BlackBerry ninjas working under Salomondrin.  If the BlackBerry Essex doesn’t sound familiar just remember that this will be the CDMA BlackBerry set to replace the Tour when the time is right.  It offers a better camera, a Trackpad and Wifi but no concrete information has become available for the specs or a possible release date.

Last this morning is more news on the HTC Touch Pro2, known as the HTC Pure by many.  The device now has its own At&t support site which was temporarily available for a short time today.  Don’t worry we are sure the pages will go live again since we expect the release to come within the next week or two.
