Start your engines it’s that time again for your Morning Mobile Minute.  Kicking things off this Thursday is bad news coming from Nokia. Nokia posted their Q3 2009 numbers this morning, reporting an operating loss of EUR 426 million, but this was primarily due to the write down in the vlaue of Nokia Siemens Network.  Converged devices sales (smartphone) were down slightly (though up year-on-year) at 16.4 million, compared with 15.5 million units in Q3 2008 and 16.9 million units in Q2 2009.

If you live in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Baltimore, Las Vegas or Seattle, you can now purchase select products from Amazon.com have have same day delivery.  Chicago, Indianapolis and Phoenix are also reported to be coming soon.

T-mobile Germany has added the BlackBerry Bold 9700 (Bold 2) to their product lineup.  The website is listing the device as coming in November and calling the device the “Bold the size of a Curve”, which is pretty accurate when you compare the dimensions and weight.

Canada’s Bell Mobility will be in a race with T-mobile Germany to launch their own BlackBerry Bold 9700 (Bold 2).  In a leaked document to BGR, the device is listed with a SKU opening date of October 15th, Shipping Date of October 30th and a launch date of November 2009.

Vodafone will be launching the Storm2 on October 26th and will have exclusivity for the device for a “few weeks”.  RIM and Vodafone made the news official this morning via Press Release and followed up by releasing the official Storm 2 promo video on YouTube.

Microsoft and T-mobile are reporting that they have recovered “most” of the Sidekick date allegedly lost due to a failed backup attempt.  Apparently Steve Ballmer has a little bit more pull than we predicted and somehow has pulled out a hail mary to save the day.

T-mobile G1 and myTouch 3G users are reporting that they have successfully ported the Sprint TV application to their Android devices.  Thanks to the software being available on the HTC Hero it was simply a matter of unloading the software from the installation files.  See it in action on YouTube.
