Vodafone BlackBerry Storm 2 Specs and Press Photos

The BlackBerry Storm 2 (9520) coming to Vodafone this October just became official.  We broke the news this morning in the Morning Mobile Minute, but the magnitude of this announcement deserved some additional coverage so we’ve sorted through the documentation and put together your full specs and even included the latest press photos.

The Storm 2 features the same smooth design, chrome accents and stainless steel back plate that we saw on the original model.  It features a 3.25-inch 360 x 480 display at 184 dpi, a capacitive touch-screen and new SurePress technology that should make clicking the display effortless.  Quad-band EDGE / GPRS / GSM, WiFi b/g and 2100MHz UMTS / HSDPA will keep you connected throughout Europe.

A 3.2-megapixel camera with zoom, autofocus, flash and video recording should take care of your imaging needs while 256MB of flash memory and 2GB of on-board storage will keep the Storm 2 running at top speed.  If you need more than 2GB of storage, a microSD slot supports up to 16GB at launch and is expected to handle 32GB cards when available.  Music affectionados will be pleased to hear that a 3.5mm headphone jack comes standard along with Bluetooth 2.1 support for hands-free headsets, stereo headsets and car kits.  Built-in GPS for maps and location-based services, photo geotagging, BlackBerry App World access and BIS/BES support also come standard.
