White BlackBerry Bold coming to Korea via SK Telecom late October

It looks like At&t isn’t the only carrier in the world planning on launching the white edition of the BlackBerry Bold.  Despite the Bold 9700 becoming available in just about every part of the world sometime in November, RIM has decided to partner up with SK Telecom in Korea to release the white Bold by the end of October.  The first 1,000 customers to purchase the white Bold will get a BlackBerry horizontal leather pouch worth KRW 37,400.  We have to admit that even after a year of being on the market the Bold 9000’s 624MHz processor and half-VGA resolution display are still quite impressive.  Unfortunately changing the color of a year-old device simply isn’t going to get us to hand over our upgrade eligibility.
