Spy Shots of the Telus BlackBerry Bold 9700 and iPhone

When your carrier supports CDMA, MiKE and HSPA incredible device launches become inevitable.  This is exactly the case for Canadian carrier Telus who has been confirmed to be launching the Storm 9550, Bold 9700, iPhone, HTC Hero, the new Chocolate BL40, the LG GB255 and the dated-Nokia E71.  Of these devices the Bold 9700 and iPhone launch look to be first out of the gate with expected release dates sometime in November.  Our friends at MobileNinjas have been able to get their hands on both the Telus-branded Bold 9700 and iPhone and above you can see the fruits of their hard work.  If we hear any news on specific release dates for any of the devices mentioned above you can count on to deliver the news.

that is great news…but I’m a bit lost about the new HSPA network move by Bell/Telus.

Does this mean that I could technically buy a Bold 9700 from say Rogers (at retail) and just put in a Telus Sim and it will work? Vice versa? No need to unlock?
