Verizon plans massive Android marketing campaign with iDoesn't slogan

Tonight when many of us will be watching the New York Yankees take on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Verizon Wireless will kick off their “If the iDoesn’t, what does?” Android marketing campaign.  Surely you wouldn’t expect Verizon to announce that the iPhone would be coming to their network in 2010 after their “There’s a Map for that” campaign, right?  Well we’ll be placing our bets on the former rather than the latter and whether you watch the ALCS tonight or Fox Football tomorrow you will undoubtedly get your first taste of Verizon’s smartphone pipeline for the remainder of 2009 and possibly 2010.  It looks like the Motorola Droid will go all official on us in just a matter of hours friends.
