Bell matches Sprint and sells Palm Pre for $149.95

Starting today Canadians can start celebrating as Bell has officially dropped the price of the Palm Pre to $149.95 on a 3-year contract.  Now we can’t say we’re big fans of a 3-year commitment, but we do enjoy the fact that Canada is seeing some love for webOS and at a quality price.  Add in the HSPA launch coming in the next few weeks and things are definitely on the up and up, and who knows maybe we’ll even see the Palm Pre drop to $99.95 this holiday season.  For the record, we know that Best Buy dropped the price of the Pre to $149.99, but when the carrier makes the same move it makes serious statement and usually is a sign of great things to come.
