Verizon's DroidDoes campaign confirms October 30th Release Date

We told you yesterday that Verizon would launch their marketing campaign for the Motorola Droid during last night’s ALCS and they delivered as promised.  The futuristic ad might seen reminiscent of a bad Terminator Salvation spin off, but what’s important is that a website has been launched, www.droiddoes.com, and it shows a countdown.  Thanks to some classes in Ancient Egyptian History we’ve been able to decipher the hieroglyphics and low and below all signs point to an October 30th release date.  Verizon and Motorola haven’t done a good job of keeping the Droid a secret, but by gearing an entire marketing campaign directly against the iPhone we sure hope the device lives up to the hype.
