We are all for innovation in Bluetooth headsets, but not at the expense of performance and most importantly battery life. Such is the case for the Jabra STONE, the company’s latest in their line of Bluetooth headsets which up until recently have been an integral part of our daily phone use (JX10). The STONE supports Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and eSCO, offers up to 12 days of standby *with charger*, up to 8 hours talk time and Technology Multiuse which opens the possibility of pairing the headset simultaneously with two Bluetooth-enabled devices. Early reviews all agree that the sound quality is excellent, the headset is extremely comfortable and Jabra delivers on its promise of 24dB of ambient noise reduction thanks to Noise Blackout Extreme DSP. Unfortunately the device is plagued by 3 major issues. It is limited to your right ear, the requirement to carry the charger due to the proprietary charging port and sub-par battery life. If you are still on the fence about picking up the Jabra STONE, it will be available on November 8th exclusively in At&t retail stores.
