Nokia N86 dominates N97 in low-light shots

Sure the N86 features a 8-megapixel camera while the N97 retains the successful 5-megapixel lens we’ve seen on previous N series devices, but if both phones have dual-LED flash could the N86 still offer a significant advantage?  To answer the question our friends at Mobile World Innovation have put together a photo gallery comparing the two devices in several low-light scenarios.  While they failed to deliver a final verdict I will just go ahead and save you the trouble, the N86 is in a class of its own when compared to the N97 in low-light scenarios.  The N97 suffered from a hazy effect in low-light shots and lacked the color saturation we saw on the same pictures from the N86. Unfortunately the superior camera will not make up for the lack of QWERTY keyboard which has a much higher value in my book, but that’s just a personal preference.  Head on over to Mobile World Innovation to see the full comparison photo gallery and render your own verdict on which camera delivers the goods.
