We’ve just got word from one of our tipsters that the BlackBerry Storm2 is already making its way into the hands of Verizon Wireless employees and retail locations.  With a release date set for this Wednesday we are less than a day away from the West Coast launch of the BlackBerry Storm2.  The real question on our minds now is whether the leaked Curve2 Verizon Holiday line up combined with the Droid and Eris announcements Wednesday will take some of the shine from the Storm2.  Well we always figured the Storm2 was more of a replacement device than an upgrade for existing Storm owners so I guess all will be well.  I mean if Verizon actually thought they could deliver the BlackBerry iPhone killer this time around we would have seen a major marketing campaign, oh wait that’s the Motorola Droid I almost forgot.

Update:  We’ve just been told that the Storm2 units in stores are running OS 5.0.0.320 instead of the OS 5.0.0.328 which was released to the original Storm on Sunday.
