Hands-on video of the Maemo-powered Nokia N900

article Nick Marshall

A full QWERTY handset that blends a high-end cellphone with an ultra-portable laptop is exactly what Nokia was going for with the N900.  This touchscreen device runs the Linux-based Maemo 5 OS and manages to pack 32GB of internal storage (up to 48GB), an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, OpenGL ES 2.0, up to 1GB of application memory, 10/2 HSPA and WiFi, a 5-megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics.  The spec sheet alone is enough to make gadget geeks like myself lose control and to help satisfy our craving, Wired has released a hands-on video of the amazing device.
