HTC HD2 to become official at Nov 4 Press Event

It seems as though the HTC HD2 has been around for months thanks to the numerous device leaks, unboxings and hands-on reviews surfacing across the Internet.  The truth of the matter is the HD2 still lacks an official announcement by HTC and a confirmed release date.  We expect both of these issues to be addressed by HTC this week on November 4th when they hold a press event to showcase the HD2 as the first Windows Phone to feature their Sense UI, formerly known as TouchFLO 3D 2.5.  We expect that HTC will confirm the rumors we’ve heard that the HD2 will be released on November 11th and that they will address the rumored Android-based HD2 once and for all.

It has already confirmed HD2 is based with Windows Mobile 6.5, it has long been cleared that it is not Android based.

Yea you are right the HD2 was always set to run Windows Mobile 6.5, but I was referring to the rumored HD2 running Android, the HTC Dragon
