Last week we confirmed that there were over 100,000 applications available in Apple’s App Store but today Apple made the news official in a proper press release.  The largest application store in the world which is available in 77 countries is showing no signs of slowing down.  Apple credits the continued success of the App Store to the OS 3.0 software release and iTunes 9’s ability to organize and sync applications so that they appear the same way on your computer screen as they do on your iPod or iPhone.  If you were wondering how successful the ‘I Am T-Pain’ app has become, Apple confirmed the application is downloaded 10,000 times a day.  It looks like the death of auto-tune is quite a ways away Jay-Z.
