Sprint goes Green with Eco-friendly Accessory Packaging

Sprint has the plans, they’ve improved their customer service, they have the device lineup and now they have the eco-friendly packaging.  In a press release this morning Sprint announced that they would be packaging phone accessories in fully recyclable casing that is 20 to 40 percent smaller than previous accessory packaging.  By switching the packaging they estimate that they’ll save 647 tons of waste and $2.1 million annually.  The new packaging will kick off this month on 12 of their most popular phone accessories for the Instinct HD, BlackBerry Tour, HTC Hero and other top-selling devices on the Now Network.
