The second Windows Mobile 6.5 device to hit the shelves of Verizon Wireless retail stores is here: welcome the Samsung Omnia II.  Those who hold their love for Windows Mobile above and beyond any common sense will find it nearly impossible to resist the sexy 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera.  If you can handle making due with Windows Mobile 6.5 you will be rewarded with 8GB of expandable memory (microSD), WiFi, stereo Bluetooth and EVDO Rev A.

This brings us to our question: Omnia II or Imagio?  The deal breaker here is that the Omnia II lacks the Imagio’s global functionality.  If you can live without global possibilities a much nicer screen and overall better looking device awaits in the Omnia II.  Pick up your Samsung Omnia II from Verizon Wireless in-store or online for $199.99 after $100 mail-in rebate.
