The HTC Bravo, formerly known as the Passion or Dragon, was rumored to be launching before the end of the year. However, this information was conflicting with the leaked 2010 HTC Roadmap we released yesterday. According to DigiTimes HTC is “likely to push back the launch of its first Android 2.0-based Passion smartphone to early 2010 instead of before year-end 2009 as originally planned, according to market sources.”

The other big news is that HTC is expected to unveil the HTC Espresso, an updated version of the HTC Hero with a keyboard, at Mobile World Congress in February.  So now that we know the HTC Bravo will run Android 2.0 and the Espresso is shaping up to be more fact than rumor, what other tricks does HTC have up its sleeve?  It looks like the Motorola Droid will have a chance to sell a few more units before the Bravo phenomenon sweeps the globe (Verizon Wireless and T-mobile in the US).
