Today I’ve been on quite the terror with unboxing galleries so let’s keep it rolling with the Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid. At the moment I’m currently waiting for my review unit to receive the OTA update so that I can really give the device a fair review. While a working autofocus is important, I can tell you without hesitation that the Moto Droid is the real deal and I would have no problem making the phone my permanent device. I’ve often been seen as a harsh critic of Android and even called an Apple Fanboy, but despite the shortcomings of Android in its infancy stage the potential for the OS is incredible and the Droid is legit.
If you still need a few more reasons to take a peak at the Motorola Droid unboxing let me run through some of the key features: Arm Cortex A8 processor @ 550MHz, 16GB microSD pre-installed, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, 720 x 480 resolution video recording @ 24fps and 30fps playback, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi b/g, Android 2.0, and a 1400 mAh Li Ion battery with 270 hours standby and 385 minutes usage.
