Yesterday CNET confirmed rumors that Google was developing an official Google Phone with an undisclosed hardware vendor. As we expected the task of developing the hardware went to HTC and the device is running Android 2.1. Now that Google employees have been issued their own Google Phone, images of the device have started appearing all across the web thanks to the power of Twitter. In the most recent sighting, we now have the best quality image of the device to date. According to Cory Obrien, the lucky Google employee, the device is called the Nexus One and he is currently using the device on At&t’s 3G network. Despite the new name we are still under the impression that it is the HTC Bravo / Passion / Dragon first spotted over on theUnlocker. What do you guys think?
