If you’ve downloaded or upgraded BlackBerry Messenger since December 14, today is the day to upgrade to version 5.0.0.57. According to the official BlackBerry Blog (Inside BlackBerry), this new version resolves an issue that exists in the two previous version (5.0.0.55 and 5.0.0.56). According to RIM, the issues many users were reporting with the two previous versions had to do with an unanticipated database issue, but that’s all fixed in version 5.0.0.57. To download the latest version of BlackBerry Messenger visit www.blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger on your mobile browser. You can also grab the latest BBM in the BlackBerry App World, but we recommend just hitting the link above in your browser instead.
