In a land far far away there were Apps that allowed iPhone users to enjoy all the privileges bestowed by Google Voice.  Unfortunately that land is far far away and we are here stuck in a reality that has left iPhone users without a means of legally using the software until today.  Riverturn, the developers behind VoiceCentral (one of the Google Voice apps previously available on the iPhone) has found a way to deliver Google Voice to iPhone users via the Safari browser.  The service is expected to launch in early 2010, known as VoiceCentral Black Swan edition, and it will feature the same look and feel of the original app.  It will have a dialer that will allow users to read transcribed voicemail and send free SMS messages.  Unfortunately there will be some limitations including the inability to use the iPhone phonebook, you will have to export them to Google first.

If you want to skip the wait you can sign up to become a beta tester today here.
