Samsung Continuum i400 and Samsung Zeal Headed to Verizon Wireless

According to two leaked Equipment Guide screenshots from PhoneArena, Verizon Wireless will release the Galaxy S Samsung Continuum i400 on November 11 alongside the Samsung Zeal.  Previous reports pointed to an October 29 release date for the Continuum, but the new information comes direct from internal Verizon documents.

The Samsung Continuum i400 runs Android 2.2 (FroYo) with TouchWiz, features two Super AMOLED displays: a 3.4-inch WVGA and a 1.8-inch 96 x 480 pixel display at the bottom.  The combination of the two screens makes for quite an interesting arrangement.  Other notable features include the industry standard 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus (HD video recording), 2GB of internal memory and an 8GB microSD card pre installed.  Pricing information is TBD, but all signs point to a $199 price point.

Samsung-Zeal-Verizon-November-11-launch-dateNovember 11 is a huge day for Verizon Wireless and if the rumors prove true we should see the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Droid Pro, Motorola Droid 2 Global Edition, Motorola Citrus, HTC Merge and Palm Pre 2 release.  Add in the Continuum and M360 and Verizon has put together the biggest release day of phones in recent memory.  One thing is for sure- Big red is bringing it this holiday season.
