The best part of the Palm Pre 2 is not the hardware, but instead that the device will be the first to run webOS 2.0. Early reviews have praised the updated operating system, but in all fairness the hardware of the Pre 2 lacks the specs seen on other top-tier smartphones. Add in the fact that Verizon Wireless is the exclusive carrier, a surprising twist following lackluster sales of the Pre Plus, and we’re not exactly sure what to make of the Palm Pre 2.
