Announced in July and released in October, the Android 2.2 (Froyo) LG Optimus One P500 has just been given the royal treatment- a high resolution photo gallery. The Optimus One P500 packs a 600 MHz processor, quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band HSDPA (900/2100 MHz), 170MB of internal memory plus microSD slot for up to 32GB of additional storage, accelerometer / proximity sensor, 3.2-inch 320 x 480 pixel capacitive touchscreen, 3.15-megapixel camera with autofocus and VGA video recording @ 18fps, FM radio and aGPS support. Overall I’d venture to say the P500 is a quality entry-level Android device that should continue to be well received by the market. Full gallery after the break.
It’s worth noting that according to Adobe’s Flash requirements for Android devices, a device must meet the minimum processor spec of a MSM7227 chip. Unfortunately the Optimus One P500 uses the ARM V6 so it doesn’t look like Flash support will be coming to the device even with future Android OS updates.
