Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones v1.9 will use cell tower triangulation and the GPS technology in your smartphone to find places of interest close to your location (within a 2-kilometer radius). To hold you over until the release we’ve included a photo gallery of what to expect when using Places on your BB.
The updated version of Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones will be available for download “within the next 24 hours” in the BlackBerry App World.
