All signs point to an Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Nexus One. Early this morning developers began to receive a two part “Android Update” which many believed would leave their Nexus One flush with Gingerbread goodness. Unfortunately, after completing part two of the update the Nexus One still shows that it’s running Android 2.2.1.
The day is still young and there’s plenty of time for third update, but any update is still a good sign. We’ll keep our eyes peeled on the developer community and let you know if part three (hopefully packing Android 2.3 beta) shows its face later today.
