There’s not telling what types of mysterious treasures one may find while perusing the latest FCC filings. The HTC PD29130 is Windows Phone 7 device, complete with GSM 850/1900 MHz and WCDMA 850/1900 MHz (WCDMA Band V, Band II). The FCC has taken their time with the device, it was received on October 26 and completed testing on November 10, but it didn’t receive approval until this morning.

So what exactly is the HTC PD29130? Well unless this is an unannounced Windows Phone 7 device (not likely), all signs point to a HTC HD7 variant with At&t 3G bands. There’s no telling whether this will be a carrier subsidized device or if it will even reach production, but for now we are certain the device exists. Anyone else itching for an At&t HTC HD7?

Update 10:20am: It looks like we are not the only ones throwing the HTC HD7 long shot out there — Pocketnow also believes the device could be the HD7 with At&t bands.  Read on for their full coverage, we’ll hedge our bets for the time being until we see some photos.

Update 11:21am: Another possible candidate WPCentral points out, could be a GSM-variant of the HTC 7 Pro.
