Opera Software has just inked a new agreement with Qualcomm, bringing the Opera Mini browser to Brew handsets world wide. With more than 90 million users, Opera Mini is focusing on OEMs and ODMs for simplified development and faster time-to-market implementation of their browser.
We are excited by this collaboration as it provides the option of a turn-key mobile browser as part of the Brew MP OS,” said Rob Chandhok, president of Qualcomm Internet Services. “Opera Mini allows us to provide a best-in-class mobile browsing experience across a range of mass-market devices.”
There you have it. If you plan on buying a BREW handset in the not-so-distant future, odds are you’ll be cruising the web with Opera Mini.
