Koodo Mobile

Koodo Mobile has been a little quiet recently, but that is all going to chance now that the carrier has added the LG Shine in an exclusive gray.  With the LG Shine already launching on Telus, Koodo Mobile users now have a chance to get their hands on a quality handset with its 2.0 megapixel camera and microSD slot.  The Koodo Mobile LG Shine will be available for $225 without contract and should have no problem delivering significant sales figures. In case you didn’t catch the magnitude of the no contract price, Telus currently sells the LG Shine for $399.99 sans contract.  While Koodo Mobile is a brand of Telus, it seems the carrier is playing favorites with their phone pricing.

Koodo Mobile is now live in Canada, using the CDMA network of Telus as it’s backbone and already offering 3 devices.  The concept is very similar to the recently troubled Virgin Mobile.  The three handsets Koodo Mobile will offer are the Samsung U410 (in red or black), Motorola KRZR (gray or black) and the Motorola W385 in black.  Much like Virgin Mobile, the devices can be picked up at almost any local retailer or a new Koodo Shop (BestBuy, Walart, Zellers, The Briks..).  Still interested?
