The official BlackBerry blog has just published a meet and greet with the man behind the upcoming BlackBerry Storm2. Some may call him a godsend, others enemy number one, but what you will find in this interview is that Mr. Mirza has given 110 percent with the Storm2 and did everything in his power to make sure the SurePress Technology lived up to the hype we saw in the advertising campaigns of the original Storm. So far based upon the early reviews I would say that it is a job well done. For the full interview hit the link below.

By now many of you have noticed that Verizon Wireless has updated their BlackBerry Storm to OS 5.0.0.328, but what about the rest of us? Well RIM is planning to release OS 5.0 sometime next week for a whole slue of devices so you might just be in luck. Here is the list of devices that will see OS 5.0 updates: Pearl Flip 8220, Curve 8330, Curve 8350i, Curve 8900, Bold 9000, Storm 9500 and Tour 9630. The only caveat is that RIM warns that not all wireless service providers will support BlackBerry OS 5.0 so at the end of the day you are at the mercy of your carrier. On the other hand I’m sure that those determined to have OS 5.0 will not be stopped by such warnings and unofficial builds will satisfy cravings.
