Not everyone has decided to board the iPhone train and for those of you who have remained patient, SanDisk is rewarding our efforts. This October, the 16GB SanDisk microSDHC and 16GB M2 memory cards will go on sale for $99.99 and $129.99 respectively. With many of today’s devices supporting microSDHC cards, the 16GB storage capacity of the iPhone is no longer a source of envy. If you are wondering whether your device supports the new 16GB cards, any device that currently supports the 4GB or 8GB microSDHC cards will work with the new lineup.

Only phones that completely lack microSDHC support will not be able to use the cards. Generally those phones have a max capacity of 2GB. As far as the 16GB M2 cards are concerned, all of Sony Ericsson’s M2 compatible devices will support the bigger storage cards.
