xmas cellfanatic1 Merry Christmas 2008 from Cellfanatic

As we close out the year and mark our 1 year anniversary of Cellfanatic it seems like the perfect time to thank you, the readers.  Without your loyal support Cellfanatic would be nothing more than a pipe dream, but instead we have managed to deliver the latest news with a bit of our own style and charisma 24/7.  The mobile industry is rapidly changing and in just a couple short weeks we will begin coverage of CES 2009 Las Vegas, quickly followed by the Mobile Word Congress and of course countless device announcements.  The coming year is expected to show a decline in cellphone sales, but with this adversity is an excellent opportunity for manufacturers to focus their attention and deliver that one perfect device we’ve been waiting for.  3G networks will soon be replaced by 4G networks and the battle between Long Term Evolution (LTE) and WiMax will continue.  In closing, we are dedicated to deliver the information you need at Cellfanatic and with the new year approaching we’d like to make several big announcements coming to the website in 2009.

First, we will begin smartphone giveaways for our loyal readers to show our appreciation and spread the love.  Secondly we will be adding a forum to the site so that we can bring a more interactive feel to the site and truly bring Cellfanatic closer to that one-stop shop for the latest in mobile phones.  The third and final change is that we are beginning to compile a database so that users always have access to the latest information on phone release dates, pricing and specs.  Since release date information changes on a daily basis and we know how agonizing it can be to wait months for a smartphone and not have release date information, we will focus our attention on alleviating this pain.
