at&t tilt getting started

The AT&T Tilt also known as the HTC Kaiser or HTC TyTN II is the follow-up to AT&T’s 8525, but rather than retaining the 8925 name, the design of the phone was incentive enough for AT&T to label the device: the “Tilt”. Personally the AT&T Tilt is our favorite Windows Mobile 6 Professional device based on the form factor, 3 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus and 3G HSDPA connectivity on AT&T’s 3G network. What gives the AT&T Tilt the edge over the competition on US Carriers is the out-of-the-box GPS support and the additional RAM (128MB RAM / 256MB ROM) running in combination with the Qualcomm 400MHz processor. While there are plenty of issues with the video drivers on the AT&T Tilt, the specifications and device performance in the real world make-up for any of it’s shortcomings when compared to Sprint’s HTC Mogul, Verizon’s VX6800 or T-Mobile’s HTC Wing. If you are unaware of the video driver issues on the AT&T Tilt, refer to the two links below:
