With O2 being the exclusive carrier for the iPhone 3G and Orange being forced to sit back and watch, it looks like Orange did not read the memo.  Orange is offering a free iPod Touch with the purchase of any “music phone” which includes all of the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.  The problem begins with the iPod Touch, but when we actually pay attention to the device being called the iPod Touch 8GB there is a problem.  The device pictured is actually the iPhone 3G which happens to be an exclusive launch for O2 and not Orange, confused yet?

In any case, we can’t wait for Orange to address the mix up in usual PR fashion, while O2 loses their cool over the entire situation and claims their exclusive iPhone 3G rite of passage.  We just gave the website a second glance to give Orange the benefit of the doubt and it looks like they made the necessary corrections to the iPod Touch 8GB pictures, but thankfully we have already captured the proof.
